Trees and plants greatly benefit our quality of life, health, and well-being. As land improvements, they are unique because they can increase in size and value over time. Thus, trees and plants dependably appreciate when under competent care. Because they are highly valued in many cases, decision-makers and takeholders need objective advice from highly skilled professionals who know their subjects. That is where American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) members come in. We are experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated advisors you can count on to provide the highest level of arboricultural consulting services and judgments available.

ASCA consulting arborists are uniquely qualified to handle the most challenging situations in several key areas of demonstrated ability. To be accepted into our ranks, members must have advanced skills, extensive credentials, and years of education and experience in arboriculture. Members come to ASCA with elevated knowledge and skills in a wide range of both scientific and professional disciplines. Additionally, ASCA members adhere to the highest Standards of Professional Practice* to ensure they not only have the skills you need, but ASCA members use those skills to serve both private interests and the public trust. Our standards focus on client relationships, competence, impartiality, independence, confidentiality, and objectivity, and they bring the highest levels of integrity to each assignment they undertake. ASCA members may choose to advance to Registered Member status by undergoing training at the ASCA Academy. The ASCA Academy involves writing, submitting, and passing three double-blind review booklet reports (based on real-world scenarios) to earn the elevated designation as a Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA). RCAs have achieved the highest level of arboricultural credentialing available and can handle the most challenging and highest-profile assignments.

Some arboricultural decisions are incredibly challenging and need advice from those who know which way to turn. When you need a professional arborist with the knowledge, skills, expertise, and background to handle your situation, call on an ASCA'n. We are uniquely qualified to meet your needs.
